E For All
So Sean and I are going to E for All tomorrow. Should be fun. We are going to drive to Long Beach and take the Blue Line from there to the Convention Center, that will save us the frustration of driving to downtown LA and also of having to pay ridiculous parking prices! I’m also going to try and send some pictures to the site and see how it works tomorrow.
I’ve Been Published!
Haha, So I was reading the Best of OC in the OC Weekly a couple weeks ago and I wanted to figure out who someone was that they said was the best newscaster from Orange County, someone they called by the name of Leena Nguyen and I couldn’t locate her (she was supposedly on CBS or KCAL or something). I went ahead and check the TV stations website and found out that the OC Weekly misspelled her name and wrote them an email on it. They posted my email in the next weeks paper (it’s about 3/4 of the way down)! So does this make me officially published? I mean I know it’s just a lowly OC Weekly, not like it’s a real newspaper. And not like I really said much anyway, since I wasn’t really expecting to get it in the paper.
MLB Playoffs
I also wanted to add a little about the MLB Playoffs. Not very interested since the teams in the NL that I wanted to advance didn’t (Cubs and Phils), but I’m glad to see the Rockies and Indians getting out to a quick start! I’m hoping to see the Indians win it all, I really like what both these teams have done and it’s great to see teams that have built from within in the playoffs! Let’s go Tribe! (sorry Offy!)
USC Football Still In The Hunt
So, this college football season has been CRAZY! So many top ten undefeated teams have lost, and this weekend wasn’t any different. USC remains in the hunt for both the BCS and Pac Ten titles with the losses of both LSU and Cal! USC was able to hang on and beat Arizona 20-13.
This victory was assisted by the future of USC, 2nd string Quarterback, Mark Sanchez started for injured starter John David Booty.
And Joe McKnight finally showed off some of the moves that made the critics compare him to Reggie Bush!
WHAT??@!!?!
I honestly do not understand how someone wins a Nobel Peace Prize by providing misinformation about global warming. Al Gore has NO place winning the NPP, period. Great now he can waste more CO2 and then pay some company to offset it. Such BS.
