USC Football Still In The Hunt
So, this college football season has been CRAZY! So many top ten undefeated teams have lost, and this weekend wasn’t any different. USC remains in the hunt for both the BCS and Pac Ten titles with the losses of both LSU and Cal! USC was able to hang on and beat Arizona 20-13.
This victory was assisted by the future of USC, 2nd string Quarterback, Mark Sanchez started for injured starter John David Booty.
And Joe McKnight finally showed off some of the moves that made the critics compare him to Reggie Bush!

Today we salute you, Mr. Delusional Notre Dame Fan. (Mr. Delusional Notre Dame Faaaaaan!) Season after season, year after year, you try to justify your absurdly high preseason ranking. (Clutching at straws!) You scramble to make futile attempts at damage control when the Irish lose to a grossly inferior opponent (How’d Navy score fifty fouuuuuur?) Inevitably, you’ll bring up the past, and boast of National Championships won 40 years before you were born. (Those were the daaaaaays!) You will point out that you have more wins than any other program as though that is relevant to the current season. (Been playing since the 1870s!) Go on, ignore that home loss to your archrivals in the regular season finale and continue to believe that you’ll defeat your bowl opponent with striking ease. (We’ll win by thirteeeeeeey!) So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh Emperor of Excuses, and take comfort knowing that when you don’t finish in the top 25, you’ll be back to number three when the preseason polls come out next year. (Mr.Delusional Notre Dame Fan!)

Wow, I didn’t think it would end up being as much of a blowout as this game is looking to be. 42-10 and 14 minutes left in the game. USC looks like they deserve to be the #1 team in the nation right now. The crazy thing is that John David Booty really hasn’t got hot yet, it has been mainly the running game and the defense that got them where they are tonight.
